• The FNMA Conventional Claims section of BFS is responsible for recovering costs from Fannie Mae (the Investor) for the cost of the presale foreclosure proceedings.

Role Description :
• BA Continuum India Agents will receive claims from Presale, DIL and REO departments of BFS. They need to verify if the loans have all the information for filing the claims. To identify the correct tax coverage periods, information can be verified from various screens in AS400 or by visiting county websites for the information
• Documentation of book loss items is done in AS400 to ensure that these items can be verified and claimed by the book loss dept
• Other tasks include follow-up on initial proceeds, responding to attorney emails, calling the taxing authority to collect tax related information
