Job Location : Pune, Maharashtra
Desired Experience : 2 to 4 Years (Mandatory)
Job Description :
• Design and create a variety of technical documents.
• Acquire and organize basic source material, including applicable specifications, engineering write-ups
• Synthesize detailed information to create customer-facing publications that meet a high-standard for accuracy and readability
• Work within a cross-functional team environment comprising of Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Professional Services, and Training Departments to gather information needed to create and maintain these quality materials
Desired Profile :
• 2–4 years of experience in technical documentation/writing or content development for technical subjects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent command of the English language
• Professional technical writing experience in the software or hardware industry
• Knowledge of the documentation development life cycle and the processes involved
• Experience on delivery of user documentation of multiple projects as per client specification
• Expertise in writing and reviewing technical documents
• Exposure to interaction with SMEs and engineers to discuss and understand technicalities to be documented
• Proficiency in one or more of the following authoring tools: FrameMaker, Epic Editor, RoboHelp, Eclipse Help, AuthorIT
